# SIP-48 Proposal for enable rETH market
## Summary
This proposal aims to activate the Rocket Pooled ETH (rETH) token market into the Strike protocol.
## Motivation
The inclusion of the rETH market was initially proposed in [Proposal 47](https://app.strike.org/vote/proposal/47).
To enhance security, the collateral factor for the rETH market was initially set to 0. After thorough verification of the protocol’s safe operation post-listing, we propose adjusting the collateral factor to 70%, as previously discussed in the [community forum](https://community.strike.org/t/proposal-add-reth-market/306/3). This adjustment will activate the market and further strengthen security measures.
